EquiShui is a non-profit 501(c)(3) located in Brewster, NY.

We provide Equine Assisted Learning and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy to those in need, creating sustainable change in lives, communities, and the world,

Grounded in principles of interconnectedness, we envision a world where our most vulnerable populations feel supported by and connected to a community. We're getting a little closer every day, with the help of horses and our partners who support us.

OUR PROGRAMS
The Equishui heal the healer program takes helping professionals on an inner and outer journey of renewal toward reconnecting to their vocation and those they serve.
CHILDREN'S PROGRAM
EquiShui’s children's program is an experiential, social, emotional and ethical learning program that is geared towards at-risk children and teens from or around NYC who do not have the opportunity to be a part of the natural world very often.
VETERANS PROGRAM
Our veterans’ program is a trauma-informed equine-assisted psychotherapy (EAP) program developed to serve the needs of veterans who have struggled with issues around transition from military life to civilian life and /or suffer some form of trauma from being in service.

Visiting the EAGALA team in Brewster provided our Hub team with a dynamic opportunity to learn about a treatment model with which our team was previously unfamiliar. Moreover, our visit afforded our team a hands-on opportunity to dive into the model and experience its value for ourselves.
Engaging with the horses and having an open forum to ask questions of the EAGALA team was an invaluable component of our visit that demonstrated the benefits that equine assisted therapy may have in store for the at-risk youth that our Hub serves
